What better way to spend a rainy afternoon than in a Chocolate factory! And Maestrani's Chocolarium is the place to be. Not only do you get to sample all the wonderful creations, you actually get to see how they are made - at least from Monday to Friday.But even a weekend visit will not be disappointing as they added now an interesting museum to the experience. This is a fun outing for people of any age as nibbling on delicious chocolate brings out the kid in anyone.Amongst the many interesting facts about the chocolate world you will also find some hands-on stations like the very popular 'milking the cow' contest. Are you up for the challenge? It's great fun... even just to watch the excitement in other visitors.You will want to reserve enough time for browsing through the chocolate store at the end of your visit as the selection is vast and seemingly endless. No need to remember which chocolates were your favorites along the way...there are plenty of samples again in the store. To close it off, I suggest a visit to their coffee shop, which is done in beautiful wood panelling and treat yourself to a wonderful Swiss coffee.I suggest to reserve 2-3 hours for this attraction.
